My Tribute to 911 - REMEMBER
Remember
by Therese Haberman
Sadness in the corner of your eye
Saw phantoms of madmen
Airspace intruders
Diving druids of death.
Heroes prevail
Rebuilding the psyche
Of the new city
Wounds heal one vision at a time.
Years whispering by
Rush hours and crosswords
September looms as
Souls rise from the darkness.
Rebirth spreading the promise
Of a newborn beginning
Those who were lost
March on in the deeds
Of our collective goodwill.
As long as we remember.

Very touching, thank you. I also wrote an article in tribute to those who have lost their lives and their families. You can find it at http://oldmanblurts.blogspot.com/ I pray for an end to terrorism and for all of those throughout the world who have suffered due to its effects.
