I am so pumped that it is finally spring!  This has been a very challenging year so far, with the unemployment of my husband and my father’s death.  Spring will usher in a new wind of positive change and rebirth in my life.

Having recently changed careers at the age of 48, I know what a challenge it is to even consider this.  I am happy to say that I am very glad I made the transition from HR director to writer.  Though my income is lower, I am happier and more productive.

When you are happy in your work, this inevitably spills over into other facets of your life.  You see things in a new way and have more appreciation for what you have accomplished and how you would like to see your career unfold down the road.
