Today is St. Valentine’s Day and I am going to a funeral.  Oh, well.  It is not exactly the way I would like to spend a holiday but at least I am going out somewhere.

With my husband laid off from work, going out on the town is not exactly a dinner and concert event.  More like sandwiches at a local eatery and the discount cinema, showing movies that are already released for movie rental viewing.

But, quite honestly, it could be worse.  I am thankful for my wonderful life and I won’t complain about the lack of funds when so many people are in much worse shape than I am.

Have a happy, hearty Valentine’s Day with your spouse of significant other and look forward to an early spring, I hope.
