Motivating Yourself

I’ve always believed in myself and my ability to be self-motivated. If anything, I guess I am on one end of the spectrum where I believe I can do anything if I set my mind to a particular goal. I have already achieved my own personal best in terms of my career aspirations and have gone beyond what I envisioned for myself.

Some folks do not have the same sense of self that I am fortunate to possess. Some have serious doubts about their own abilities to be successful in their career endeavors. If this is your problem, you need to get over it. You could be standing in your own way.

There are many obstacles to reaching your personal potential from a job standpoint. The saddest thing to happen would be if your own self-doubt kept you from taking the necessary risks to ensure your success. Career mobility is highly dependent on risk taking willingness. You have to put yourself in a position of possible failure before you can turn a situation around by your force of will and hard work.

Get out of your own way. Personal growth is all about calculated risk taking. Just do it.

    Hi there!

I visited you all over Ehow yesterday. I’m impressed that you got so many hits on your articles. That is so great! I tried to add you as a friend, but can’t figure out how to do that.

I know you are always looking for ways to make extra cash. I don’t know if you periodically write articles that don’t really fit the blogs or Ehow. If so, let me know and I’ll drop an idea your way.

    Keep up the great blog!
