Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
I really feel the holiday spirit this year. I am walking with a spring in my step and smiling at other shoppers in the stores. Granted, I have my little slip ups in moods when the Peapod man backs his truck into my 35 foot high bushes or the UPS man leaves parcels in places that cannot be found.
But those situations aside, and despite the crappy economy and state of my personal finances, I am in the mood for the holidays. I was actually wrapping presents yesterday and will continue today, while listening to holiday music and waiting for our first real snowfall of the season.
I was reading about a study on moods and that from a scientific standpoint, happiness is actually contagious. I guess I have always known this intuitively, but it is nice to know that my good mindset can infectiously affect other people in a positive way. So my words of wisdom today are to cheer up and spread your good mood to everyone you know. And who knows? Maybe there is some scientific connection between good holiday wishes and ample snowfall? Okay, that is a stretch, but I can see the snow clouds brewing out my window as I write these lines to you. Have a great day.
I’ve always believed happiness is contagious, a state of mind. When you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you; when you frown, the whole world is frowning… it seems… It snowed here this past weekend as well. Enjoy this day~~
