I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Here is a poem for your reading pleasure.

Kid Stuff

by Therese Haberman

Paisley prints and peppermints
Daffodils dazzle the daisies
Ice cream cones or buttered scones
Summer swept mornings are lazy

Polka dot dresses with fancy pants
Bonnets of little blue roses
Buzzing bees beckon in sunshiny slants
Wander the yard doing poses

Dew-freckled bushes hug at the ground
Fluffy brown bunnies can hide there
Drag a teddy bear all around
Giggle at glimpses of a white dappled deer.

Shadowy sunrays mean nappies come soon.
Rock-a-bye-baby a Mommy to croon.
Dream of blue birdies
Who twitter bird wordies.

And drift far away
To fairy tale lands
With a bottle still snug
In tiny pink hands.
